The raging war between radical Islam and the west (and all of its representation) is not a current happenstance.  This has been going on for years, decades – if not centuries.  The theft of Kuwait, the rise and fall of the Taliban Government in Afghanistan, and the current reincarnation and establishment of the new caliphate called ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria).

Lives and properties were forcibly taken, all in the name of a higher being.  Religious intolerance and frustration is everywhere and these in turn kills more lives and destroys more properties.

In the middle ground are the civilians.  Who are forced to flee their land of birth to find a saner life somewhere else.  But this scenario is further fuelled by the violence that is consuming the Middle East and is now threatening to infect western countries.

It started with the shooting inside the Charlie Hebdo publications in Paris, followed by another coordinated shooting in a stadium during a football game, in a restaurant and even in a concert hall.  France is angry and they should be.  Currently, they are bombing hard and soft targets in Syria and Iraq for retaliation purposes but the act of terrorism continues.

In Great Britain and in USA, individual attacks transpires inspired and claimed by ISIS are sowing more seeds of terror.

It is said that Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines is a tripod of terrorism in Southeast Asia.  Malaysia provides the funding for terroristic activities, Indonesia provides the manpower requirement for terroristic activities and the Philippines provides the training for these terroristic activities.

Currently, the killing is happening in the bastion and homeland of the western civilization (i.e. US territories and European countries), but some are predicting that it is simply a matter of time before these terror activities starts to bite and devour SE Asia.
